CCKCC Toastmasters club is organizing the speechcraft workshop next month. This workshop is designed for public who want to learn the fundamentals of public speaking. It will cover topics such as organizing of speech, body language, vocal variety, impromptu speaking and evaulation of speech. Details as follow:
Dates: 18 Oct, 25 Oct, 01 Nov, 08 Nov, 15 Nov, 22 Nov
Time: 2.30pm - 5.30pm
Venue: Chua Chu Kang CC Conference Room, Level 2
Course Fees: $180
To register, please download the application form here, print it out and complete the form. Please bring the form together with your payment and register at Chua Chua Kang CC admin office.

We are glad to announce that Ang Chew Hoe came in first in the Humourous Speech Contest and Jave Zhou was the Speech Evaluation Contest Champion. They will represent our Club at the Area Z2 contests respectively, on 26 Sep at the Frontier Toastmasters Club. Chew Hoe will also represent Chua Chu Kang CC to vie for the People's Association (PA) Humorous Speech Challenge Cup 2008, which will be held on 6 Sept at Nee Soon South CC. We wish them good luck!

Congratulations to our senior club member - Poh Kim Siong, Distinguished Toastmaster. He has been elected as the International Director (2-years term) for Districts Not Assigned to Regions, to oversee clubs in countries including Singapore, Thailand, Macau, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia and other countries in the region, in the International Convention at Calgary, Canada.
